Never fun trying to predict a full 16-game slate by Tuesday, but it’ll all be worth it as I’m stuffing my face and watching football tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The Lions are currently ahead of the ‘85 Bears in the historical DVOA tables; I don’t think they’re actually better than my personal choice for the greatest team of all time, but they’re much better than the Vegas lines and some of my favorite podcasts would have you believe. Let’s ride them while we can!

Other than injuries, we have enough hard data to make some good statistical arguments for every team at this point. Is that enough to go on a hot streak? Probably not, but let’s see what happens!

It’s tough to pick these games with so many important players playing through injuries or waiting for gametime, but we’ll forge ahead and see if the 2024-25 NFL Season starts to make sense this week.

There are two or maybe three rat lines on the docket this week and we’ve already been wrong about the first one. I thought the Texans would beat the Jets, and they might have with a little more field goal luck, which I’m sure Jets’ fans will be happy to ignore. But why are the Chiefs favored by almost double-digits after a 7-point win over the Raiders? And why are the Bills favored by less than a touchdown at home?
