The Lions are currently ahead of the ‘85 Bears in the historical DVOA tables; I don’t think they’re actually better than my personal choice for the greatest team of all time, but they’re much better than the Vegas lines and some of my favorite podcasts would have you believe. Let’s ride them while we can!
There are two or maybe three rat lines on the docket this week and we’ve already been wrong about the first one. I thought the Texans would beat the Jets, and they might have with a little more field goal luck, which I’m sure Jets’ fans will be happy to ignore. But why are the Chiefs favored by almost double-digits after a 7-point win over the Raiders? And why are the Bills favored by less than a touchdown at home?
